No sound for notification of reminders

Tried searching but no results...

Just got the treo pro a few days ago and have synced with pc etc and done installing a couple of apps. I set notifications for reminders to a specific tone "notify" that came installed on the device. I have set it to sound, vibrate, and message notification. It will show the pop up message, and vibrate, but will not make any sound at all.

I have pocket player installed and its the default for the all the music files I guess because theyll all checked etc in the program.

All other tones, ring tones, etc work fine just no calendar notifications.

Have you set the reminder in Outlook on your PC too?

The only other thing I can think of would be to uninstall pocket player and do a soft reset. I would recommend MemMaid to remove the program, it works way better then the one included.

To answer all the above questions yes my outlook and everything is setup correctly.

It turns out that if I disable the voice command option for calendar then the notification sound starts to work.

So, what I did was disable the voice annoucements of the appointments/calendar and now the "notify" tone plays just fine and repeats every minute too.

So I guess no voice or anything announcing the appoitnment for me. oh well at least something works.

Hope that works out for everyone else too!

ok problem came back even after disabling the calendar section in voice command. so don't know what else it could be.
