backlight and keylight during calls doesn't turn off

Anyone else have the backlight and keyboard light not shut off during calls? Mine dims but doesn't shut off even after 20ish minutes of talk time. Is this normal? I can't seem to find a setting anywhere to shut it off.

normal, yes. a way to shut it off? not that i know of.

You can use the app keylight to turn off keyboard light. I can agree that it doesn't turn off also and that's normal. I do wish screen would turn off, but they at least locked it, thats a first for any winmo phone that I have had!!

Thanks for the tip. I got two programs that shuts off the backlight with a push of the side camera button. Works great. Always feel stupid if I'm in the dark with it all lit up.

OK... I have a fix, but it kinda sucks haha. PocketPcUtils has an option to turn off screen.

Put that on your ppc and soft reset. Now you have a program for soft resetting your phone. Set this to be the push side button option. When you are in a call push the side button.

You will have options now, Screen, Power, Reset, etc... Press screen and everything goes black while you are IN CALL!

The only problem is that the only way to get the screen back up is to press the end button, thus, ending the call! So it works but it isn't perfect haha.
