In call recording apps -- works on Treo Pro?

Hi,

I saw in the PocketPC Apps forum, there's an app called InCall recording, seems to works on Diamond and Diamond Touch. Wondering if anyone got that to work on the Treo Pro? Thanks.

Not without activating the speakerphone. Been there, tried that. LOL...

You can also install this cab file. It adds the record option to the pop-up menu while in a call. Again, still with speakerphone, but it's right there at your fingertips.

Like I said, I would like to report back here on how well this works on STP...Works quite well actually if you turn on speaker phone while recording, otherwise the incoming sound is really faints. I've read on other (Treo Central) that by replacing wavedev.dll under /windows, this issue is fixed on other phones. I've attempted that without success as the wavedev.dll on STP is in ROM, not sure how to get around that unless there's a custom ROM available with this cooked in.

Anyone have more info on this issue, please posts...TIA.

Maybe try replacing it with a program like Resco Explorer?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'd tried that without success, the wavedev.dll just can not be overwritten even with Resco Explorer. Kinda stuck on this...
