Error Pics/Video Notification

I tried to send a vcalendar message to someone and got the following message
"message delivery failed. or message receipt failed" error message. Actually I was just testing this out and playing around with the phone, however, this nofication keeps coming up on my today screen with only 2 open "retry now" or "retry later".

All I want to do is get rid of the notification message. How do I do that?
