Supposedly, it's a registry to avoid detection while using PAM...

I just did the trial on my Touch pro, my question is do you have to pay for it or is there a free download?

It is a free trial, and well worth the investment. I'm traveling down Interstate 95 in NC right now as I post this from my laptop. Speed is excellent. No glitches, nothing.

It's worth it.

if using wifi from your home internet connection yes you can, but the WMWIFI router converts your EVDO signal into wireless so you can use a laptop to surf the web. You cannot use the EVDO connection while on a phone call.
