introduction and advice on upgrading Palm Treo pro

=D>Hello everyone, my name is Philly but you all can call me Y2k or just R1. I would like to upgrade my Palm but am not sure on how to do it and to make sue I don't lose the stuff I have in my memory. if you can give me any help advice instructions which rom to DL and how to do it.I use the windows moblie online sync back up my stuff but I never used it before so I don't know if it works. Thanks a lot
