Yes, I never used my Treo Pro long enough to try a custom taskbar, but on my other WM phones I always installed to Device. Can't hurt to try and see if it makes a diff for ya

I'm using one of the tsowen taskbars (tsowentaslbar6v3.3(lite) is the version, I think), I found either here or on xda-developers. I also tried the Misfortune one. Most of the icons work, except the signal bars. I tried a couple versions, the few I've tried all work the same. running the BigE custom ROM, FWIW. With RealVGA, the icons are tiny as all hell, but they add some color.

thats what i run into you get some icons but not all of them. same issue with the signal bars as you
