Windows mobile 6.5 update.

Hi, Actually, I m having a difficulty to install one of 6.5 ROMs to my phone. So I tried CFay. I followed step by step and the process didn't go through, it stuck at 0%. Then, screen said that there is error 62, communication error. (I have windows 7 64bit for my computer) In addition, red light on my phone did disappear after the three colored screen. I think that this is one of the problems why I m having this kind of problem. Or do I need a special USB cable instead of original?

Can you tell me how to solve this problem??? Thanks Have a nice day.

1. You do not need a special USB cable.

2. You must unlock your phone first. see http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=84822

3. When I unlocked my phone, I had to disconnect and reconnect the USB cable in the middle of the process somewhere to get it to work. I'm sorry, it has been so long I don't remember where. Try it every time the unlocking program asks you to hit Ok, and if that is not the correct time, reset your phone, and try unplug/replug at the next prompt. Once you unlock your phone, you can try a whole bunch of different ROMs and see which one you like best.

I still have a connection problem, error 260. Once it goes to unlock, it seems to be disconnected from the computer. Sorry, I ve spent more than two days but still not getting it... So complicated...

i disconnected then reconnected in the second screen
