Dragging files via USP

Hello,

This is probably a newbie question even though I been on this site for sometime but I'm still learning getting the hang of these smart phones.I

Iwas wondering if anyone knows how to drag files from the computer to the Treo Pro without having to install the active sync program I've had phones that allowed you to do so in the past. (I own a Palm 755p, Palm Pre, Hero, Touch Pro 1 & 2 so I'm not sure which).Seems like its kind of forced on you once the USB is plugged in.
