I want to use Treo Alerts

I just got an 800w and have read great things about Treo Alert. I've searched and have come across several versions for the 800w, but none will install. I get an error simply stating "Unisntall unsuccessful" immediately after I run the cab file.

I haven't come across any specific install instructions aside from running the cab. I've been running the cab from the storage card. Anyone help?

Re: I want to use Treo Alerts

I believe Treo Alert requires mortscript. Have installed that?

Re: I want to use Treo Alerts

I did have mortscript installed (on internal storage). I tried moving the alert cab from the card to internal storage, but the Treo wouldn't let me do it (tried through MDC and file explorer (on the phone)).

Do I need to run the alert cab in the same spot as mortscript?

Re: I want to use Treo Alerts

Just my two cents, I recently did a hard reset on my treo 800 and freshly installed treo alerts 9.0 without mortscript without a problem.

I have treo alerts 9.0 on my 800w and I don't even know what mortscript is!
