Re: Sprint Picture Mail vs. sMMS
I assume you mean uploading to networking sites. If so, that is odd that the function doesn't appear for you. It is all Sprint Picture Mail, so they should be the same.
1. Make sure you are opening the program from your programs folder entitled, "Configure Picture Mail" 2. Then choose, "Tap to Add" 3. Make sure the correct networking sites are checked 4. Choose continue 5. Go to a picture and click the softtouch "Menu" 6. Choose "send to your space" If you can't find any other help try this app for uploading to Facebook. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36675

Re: Sprint Picture Mail vs. sMMS
What device are you using? The cab that skeeg posted is only for the 800w. Sprint has released device specific cabs for their picture mail service. The easiest way to get the right version is to use the Software Store link in you Programs folder.

Re: Sprint Picture Mail vs. sMMS
You might wanna head over to the Touch Pro forum and check there. I can't see Sprint leaving out features between different devices. Check for an update to the software, thats what I did when I noticed the extra options available.

SMMS all the way! Had it since the beginning when Sprint could care less about winmob and picture mail. They came out with their version after the customers made a big flap.

Re: Sprint Picture Mail vs. sMMS
ANYONE HAVE ANY SUCCESS having sprint add picturemail for your 800w??? I have given up. I tried MANY avenues without success. I get the bs that sprint does NOT support PM on the 800w, even though sprint.com has the download for the PM appl, but it is made by another company.
I have an older vision package called Sprint Unlmtd Power Vision Pack (includes PAM, PictureMail, and data) . Sprint reps CANNOT for the life of them add the Picturemail Pack on - the system no longer allows this for the Treo. I have found in the past the Picturemail Pack is needed to enable my PM account. Right now, I get charged $0.20 per picmail sent, even if using sMMS (which I donated $ to get) If you have gotten it to work, what add-ons and vision package do you have? |
