Re: Call Tones

I am a nubie at this. My friend pimped my 700. Since upgrade to 800, he has been in NYC and will not be back until March 2009. I got the announce feature to work. I am not sure how to proceed on 800. My 14y/o son tried to help.

Checked Settings you mentioned are where?

Did you try this on a Treo 800 yet?

Re: Call Tones

I sent the link to myself, and was brought to the calltones page. I DIDN'T install the cab since I was being lazy. I wish I could say whether or not it worked since I got rid of my 2nd line and can't call myself. I used to do this several years ago when I had a ppc-6700.

That is exactly what I was asking. The set ups are different on the Treo 800. Help anyone. I could not get the program to work.

Re: Call Tones

I'd try the calltones link first and give that a try before changing the user agent.
