Re: Question about treo and exchanging
Do you have Equipment Protection? I have had issues by phone when dealing with tech support when I didn't have the insurance. They billed me for a defective unit. That was in June and I just now finally got my bill straight only because I threatend to take my account and my business account to AT&T. The issue was with a Centro. Maybe you will have better luck if you just walk into the store.

Re: Question about treo and exchanging
If there is a non cosmetic problem with the phone then yes, they will fix or exchange it for you, you do have to do to a Sprint Service center though since a regular store will just charge you $50 and send you on your way, a service center will test the phone, fix or replace it free of charge as long as the problem isnt one that isnt covered under normal wear and tear.

Re: Question about treo and exchanging
if they can't find anything worng with it they may just give you back your phone. Before I switched to the touch pro, my speakerphone stopped working, and they ordered a refurb for me, wich i believe would to be standard practice for a TEP replacement
