Extend Battery Life, Make sure GPS is OFF!

Here's a simple tool I found over at wmexperts written by hannip. Its doubled my battery life easily.

You obviously didnt click the link did you? It makes sure your GPS radio is off. This wont keep your gps radio shut off if you soft reset your phone so you'll have to run it again.

Um...after I posted this I just saw you're using the Diamond. I cant say if this will work for you or if you should even attempt to try and use it. It was written specifically for the 800w. If you try it let us know what happens.

Opps, I didn't realize that the underlined GPS Tool was an actual link!

I switched from the HTC Diamond to the 800w. I may give it a whirl.

I leave the GPS locator on, and I don't see any drain in battery life as a result. Just make sure to close any open GPS programs when not in use. The biggest battery drainer I have found is leaving IR beam active. Turn it off when not in use.

Try the app and see how much longer your battery lasts. It works. Check the link in the fist post, a bunch of people have reported the same thing.
