All of a sudden.. gmail won't sync...

I bought my wife an 800W. We're on Sprint. Have never had a problem, then all of a sudden today, she can't send emails through gmail. She can recieve, just not send. All of her settings are correct. I actually set up her gmail on my Mogul, to test it, with the exact same settings, and I was able to send and receive. Anyone have any suggestions?

I hate to hard reset this thing, I've pulled out the battery, but don't want to wipe it all out...
