That should work but I use an exchange server and it doesn't support HTML messages. The only bad part about this is that when ever you get a message it will download the whole thing and use an active data connection for longer periods which uses more battery, fyi.

Added the following:

21. Remove SIP's (software input panels)
Remove Letter recognizer SIP
HKCR\CLSID\{42429690-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSIPInputMethod
"Default"="1"

Remove Block recognizer SIP
HKCR\CLSID\{42429691-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSIPInputMethod
"Default"="1"

Remove keyboard SIP
HKCR\CLSID\{42429667-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSIPInputMethod
"Default"="1"

To kill a keyboard, change the above values to "0"
By modifying these values you're removing the input methods from the list below. As you can see, I've removed the keyboard SIP from the list because I think its pointless to have that when you have a hardware keyboard right below it.


22. Undock the SIP's from the bottom of the screen.
HKCU\Control Panel\SIP
Change the value of Dragstyle from 0 to 1

Notice the blue bar above the SIP? Just drag it anywhere you like.

I will add these to the script when I get a chance.

Let me know if you guys even use any of the SIP's. I used to on my 6700 but I never have on my 800w.

Dose this reg edit remove the pop up keyboard all together or just from the menu???

Still new to this reg edit thing but found something.

Disable Radio On/ Radio Off Sound

HKLM\Palm\Carrier\DaillookupPlugin\PhoneStatus

GoodbyeImage = RadioGoodbye_Sprint.bmp
GoodbyeSound = RadioOff.wav
WelcomeImage = RadioWelcome_Sprint.bmp
WelcomeSound = RadioOn.wav

I put quotes around Radiooff.wav and RadioOn.wav, no more sounds when you turn off and on the phone radio. I tried it with the .bmp values and all it did was make to make it so I couldn't turn the radio on and off. Maybe someone with just a bit more knowlage about this can play with it and see if there is a way to change the On\Off sound to what ever and the On\Off pic to what ever.

Just from the pop up menu. It doesn't actually remove it from your device.

Dose it keep it from popping up when you go to web sites or apps when you tap a text entry fields? It dosen't pop up often by It just...... well you know. Anyhow TY.

or better yet..backup ur data, try it, cee for urself...u'll find out, its funner this way. cuz his Mortscript cab is dope, i use it myself..i havent tried the hide keyboard option yet..that doesnt bother me...but yea, try it..test it out for u and every1 else, report any issues or likes or whatever
