thanks for the reply, but now i have a problem where i cant edit all the entries i want to because it says access denied! what do i do now, get a better registry editor.

I use Vista and have an 800w. I tried both recommended registry programs and neither would install properly. I also tried Mobile Registry Editor and that did load. However, it won't allow me to make any changes: "Cannot delete value Extension. Access is denied." 800w is new replacement for previous 800w that had a problem. Any other ideas or advice to edit my registry? Thanks, GoldMiner

i dont know which 2 u speak of. but i also had an 800w and vista 16bit(if that means anything) and i had resco installed on it and phm on my sd card

Have you looked at the registry editing script I made? If the tweaks in there are the ones you want you may just be able to use the script and avoid having to manually edit the registry all together.
