does or can the 800w have a2dp?

just like the title says. i am looking to buy a set of bluetooth headphones, and i dont feel like ordering the new jabra bt303 set untill a local store has them.
so i would like a bluetooth headset so i can listen to my xm and music on my treo.

Yes it dows support A2DP. I use a Jabra 3030 with Sony ear buds. I even plug the 3030 into my car stero and it souds wonderful.

search for reg edits it will most likely however i dont use bluetooth nor own a 800w

now this may be a dumb question but how do i do a registry hack?
i think i heard of a software called regedit but i am not sure, and i dont want to f up the phone

I use Total Commander but you can search the forum and find that there are others people use.

The 800w already supports A2DP, but using the hacks can enhance the sound with A2DP supported BT headphones. You can export the registry that you will about to change. So if you really think you F'd it up, just import it back again. If you really think you F'd up your device, just perform a restore from an Sprite Backup or if worse comes to worse, just perform a hard reset.

Short answer, yes stereo bluetooth (A2DP) works on the treo, out of the box.

If you want to listen to music through bluetooth, but don't want both ears taken or don't want to mess with headphones/earbuds, take a look at the Jabra BT8040. I am using it now, and i have never had a nice bt headset...

I feel that this will be of some use to you . Its an a2dp hack for WM 6 phones for the Treo 800w from Hannip useing mortscript. Its very easy to instal and use. I own the MOTO T505 Bluetooth Car Kit and this improved my music quality, Take a look and enjoy.
