Touch Screen Quit Working

Everything was fine on my phone Saturday, then Sunday when I got up my touch screen was not responding. No new software installed. I tried several soft resets but it's still not working. Any ideas? Should I try a hard reset? (I haven't had to do that yet) Or should I just take it back to the Sprint store?

You can try a hard reset, but it may happen again, especially since you never really installed any apps. I would probably take it back to the Sprint store and exchange it.

I think I might do that. A hard reset did fix the touch screen issue today, but I've had nothing but problems syncing ever since. (ActiveSync throws errors) I don't have the exact error here and I'm not up to messing with it tonight.

Re: Touch Screen Quit Working

I swapped it for another 800w earlier this week. I'm so tired of having problems with this thing - I just want something that will work; I don't have time to fiddle with it for hours.

When you perform a hard reset, be sure you delete the partnership in Activesync.

I have a similar problem as sometimes it will stop working and then start again.

Re: Touch Screen Quit Working

I had the problem of mine basically lagging. Like it would take forever to open a program when using the touchscreen, then a bunch of programs would open at once. I ended up having to exchange it.
