OZ messenger from 800w

Hello there,
Does anyone happen to have ripped OZ messenger from the 800w, I want to try it on my Mogul, and see if it generates an error or will actually work, if you could upload the cab, it would be much appreciated!
-Thanks

Re: OZ messenger from 800w

please see the mogul forums, as of right now the program does not work. gives MD5 error. if you are looking for AIM. goto AOL's website there is an AIMBETA that will work on the mogul. pretty good program. for anything else try searching for Slick messenger, its a free program and works for AIM, Yahoo, MSN, and others

i personally think the oz messenger is rubbish, doesnt keep me signed in and it errors out randomly, the aim beta works best on the mogul (bigger screen)

While its not perfect, it does work via SMS which means you don't hammer the battery with a constant connection, granted this is not an issue if you are constantly chatting as your phone is always on, but if you just get a few IMs here and there, this is the perfect app. The phone stays OFF until you get a message. The other apps do not do this.

Are you referring to the OZ messenger when you say it works via SMS? I was wondering about that before I bothered installing it.

Re: OZ messenger from 800w

yes, OZ messenger works via SMS for the actual IM messages. The user list is updated via your internet connection. You can close the app all together and it will re-open it when a new text message arrives.
