anyone have texting problems?
my 800 for the first week sent texts fine. then all of the sudden one day (i had been texting all day), it decided to stop sending my messages. gave me an error about being connected & making sure the radio was on (which it was). that happened for like 3 days, i would press send & the little arrow would just stay gray forever. after that, texts stopped even popping up on the thread. i would press send & the message would disappear completely. anyone else have this problem??

Things are fine here in Illinois. It could be the network. Did you call sprint? Did you enable Rev.A?

Have you tried doing a soft reset?

On occasion one of my texts will not go through and I get an error. I can however hit resend and it will send the txt successfully. Nothing like the problem you are having though.

i'm not having that issue here too. sometimes the sprint network is a little slow receiving but sending for some weird reason goes through right away.

There are some notorious issues with Sprint and their texting service. It's not uncommon for texts to be delayed...and the most notorious issue is the dreaded, "people keep getting the same text from me...over and over and over..." issue.
Bottom line...it's most likely a network problem. late, Coz

the error message may indicate a problem with the network however if you send a text and the send button remains greyed out it may be a problem with the software, start with a softreset and then a hard reset and post back to let us know the outcome. make sure that you do not restore any old backups before you test.

hey i experienced the same problem as you. my txt msging program would just not work, i would be able to receive msgs but couldn't send them, they would just gray out. it got to a point where the screen will turn black and just hang. on treocentral, someone experienced the the same problem and suggested it might be due to a 3rd party app. anyhow, what i did was hard reset the treo and now the txt works fine, but must now reload everything a big pain in the @$$. good luck

yeah we talked to sprint & rev a is enabled, i have the problem before i enabled it & after. i have only a soft reset app on it, have done both hard & soft reset. sprint cant figure it out, they said it must be the phone. & its not the network, i have had sprint for over 3 years & never had a texting problem
