HTCHome Issues

I have a few issues with HTC how 6 button and was hoping someone might be able to help.

1.) How can I change the audio app from Audio Manager to something like Kinoma? I downloaded and installed Audio Manager, but it will not work on the 800W (not digitally signed or something like that). I also downloaded and installed HTC Home Customizer but it will not let me change my audio application. I am willing to stick with Audio Manager if I could get it to work.

2.) When I installed Real VGA 96dpi to use HTCHome, Maps no longer works. Anyone else having this problem? I suspect Maps does not like RVGA and 96DPI but cannot be sure.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: HTCHome Issues

unfortunately all versions that i have tried of audio manger do not work as of yet // and HTC home does not have any other available selection for audio managers due to the controls are only coded to work with windows media and audio manager.

and yes realVGA makes the maps application stop working although i would recommends another app anyway for maps. i never liked it anyways lol

Re: HTCHome Issues

Thanks. Do you know how to make Windows Media work? I do not even know how to get that to work.

What map app do you recommend?

Re: HTCHome Issues

it should be default, if it isn't i dont know i never could get HHC to work on mine i believe there is a registry setting you have to change, you could look it up or use a registry editor to try and find the string

as far as maps, i would recommend sprint navigation. for a "free'er" (i know its not a word lol) you can use live search however sometimes the GPS is inaccurate and it doens't sort by distance. i haven't tried google maps but i assume it works just like it does on other phones and it kicks butt

depends on how you like it i guess. but those are 3 i recommend
