2 phone button issues

I've noticed 2 phone issues and wonder if anyone has any solutions.

1) When the phone is locked and in my pocket, if I get a call, sometimes the "answer" softkey accidentally gets pressed and the phone answers without me knowing it. When I had my Centro, I used Butler which had a "2 button answer" feature, so in order to answer the phone you had to hit the option key and then the answer key. This prevented the phone from accidentally being answered when it was in your pocket bouncing around. Is there anything similar to this for the 800w?

2) When you press the phone button, it will bring up a menu that lets you select the Dial Pad, call log and last calls that were made. The problem I have is sometimes I press the phone button and I hit it too hard and it registers a double tap or something and it dials the most recent name in the list. Is there a way to disable the call log feature from the phone button itself? I think the phone app could use some improvement, I was used to using TakePhone on my Centro and would love to see something similar.

Thanks, I'll look into it but I'm not sure if it will work. I may have misspoke, when I said the answer "softkey" gets selected when the phone is in my pocket.

The button is actually the hard key (the left one underneath the screen).

The redial list is something that annoys me and I wish there was a way to permanently disable this. The only solution I found was using file explorer, go to My Device and find and delete PalmVol. This will remove the redial list when you press the green call button. The down side is once you do a soft reset the file does come back and you will have to delete it again.

Thanks for that info, I'll give it a try. I wonder if there is some type of registry edit that would allow us to disable it?

Or I wonder if there was some way to change the highlighted option? When you hit the green button, the last phone call is highlighted so if you hit the green button again, it dials that number. Seems like a better method would be to have the dial pad selection highlighted. I'm sure there must be a way but someone smarter than me is going to have to point it out.

I found that if you delete it then do a soft reset the file is not there until you make your first outgoing call. Is this what you are experiencing?

If you find a registry hack please let me know. I have looked but have not been successful.
