treo 800 ring delay

any way to remove the rimg delay that when someone calls the treo 800w, there is no delay before the treo 800 rings?thnx

Can you change the slot cycle index on a trio? It sounds like thats what you want to do.
Thats how I fixed my delays on the PPC 6700/6800/6900 with sprint..
I have to Dial ##778# - Edit - View info - Modem Settings - Slot cycle index and change from 2 to 0.
If I remember correctly for every +1 is a 2.5 second delay between your phone and the cell tower.

##778# doesn't work on these treo phones unfortunately, so far i have searched a couple threads and the slot cycle index cannot be changed. or maybe i haven't searched hard enough? lol
