Re: does anyone know, how to lock screen when on a call

From the Treo 800w User Guide:

Using Auto-Keyguard and Touchscreen Lockout
Auto-Keyguard
lets you automatically lock the keyboard after a period of inactivity.

1.
Press Start and select Settings.

2.
On the Personal tab, select Keyguard .

3.
Set any of the following options:

Auto-Keyguard: Set the period of inactivity that passes
before the keyboard automatically locks or before the
auto-keyguard feature is disabled.

Disable touchscreen: Set whether the screen’s
touch-sensitive feature is enabled during a call. If you
disable the touchscreen, the
Touchscreen Disabled

icon appears in the lower-right corner of the screen during your calls.
4.
Press OK .

Re: does anyone know, how to lock screen when on a call

I still think the best solution for this is the one that I came up with....install AE Button Plus and then set up the LCD on/off to a button that you don't use frequently (I set mine up to the calendar key).

Re: does anyone know, how to lock screen when on a call

Have you tried BlackMe, install the cab then set to any of the hard keys turns the screen to black so you don't press it while on a call. Plus it conserves power, an essential feature on the Treo 800w. CAB file attached

Re: does anyone know, how to lock screen when on a call

Phonealarm has an option to blank screen on call. That prevents face rubbing issues.
