i mean.... i cannot get past 1pm while every BB i've had for the last 7 years could. (i run the same apps and do the same thing that i did on my BBs)

the phone thinks it is charging... even when it is not.

it won't go into standby (which is probably why the battery stinks) most of the time unless i manually do it.

I've had the range from 6700s, Moguls, Touches, Moto Q9c, and this 800 is the most disappointing.

Try turning off the wifi. Its a huge battery drain.

yeah turn odd wifi, and when you exit out of a program take the extra 2 seconds to go to the task manager and end the task.
i had my phone unplugged for like an hour and my battery was down to 80% i went into the task manager and there was like 12 open programs from the day before

I totally agree with closing apps once done with them...if the charging light stays on with wifi off, you might want to take it in for warranty repair. I am a BIG "traditional" ppc fan however, I fell in love with this phone especially with the new resolution. Give it time man. Pretty soon you will start seeing apps rolling out with support for our 320x320 screens. I would have to say I probably give this phone a 8.5 for all the features it actually has.

i have used wifi only two times. it is never on.

Mine at one point stopped going into standby. Did a hard reset and it went back to normal.

Mine would also sometimes keep the charging light on after I unplugged it.

Primarily because of poor battery life, I took mine back and will wait for a better phone.
