Redial List

I have found that from the Today screen if you press the green call button a list of numbers called pops up. If you delete your outgoing calls from the call log these number will not be deleted as well. I found that from the call log you can click on menu and you can delete the redial list. I particularly don't care much for this feature. Does anyone know how to permanently disable the redial list?

first you can erase your entire call log as usaual. To erase the recent calls made that pop up when u press the green call button go into File explorer, My Device, and selct the file named palmVol. Erase it and you will no longer have the list. After a soft reset your phone will begin recompiling your most recent calls and the palmVol file will reapear.

I guess I could have mentioned that I did find the info on the palmVol.vol file but is there a way to keep this file from recreating after a soft reset? Deleting a file to me is not any easier than deleting the redial list from the call log. I have not been able to find reference to this file in the registry.

their are a list of REG edits over at wmexpersts.com otherwise it will just be a temporary fix.

There is a solution if anyone is still looking. Probably an invertent find but can be done using Treo Pro dialer provided by jmztaylor.
