Sprint Dropping Treo 800?

I work for a big corperation that deals with all top 3 vendors ( sprint, verizon and ATT) and was told by a sprint rep that Sprint plans on dropping the Treo 800. he said something with talks with Palm failed...

Can anyone validate this? I know how reps are and sometimes they talk outside the box

seriously, go away. It is a business phone. As a business user I could give a **** about youtube or even the camera (I actually removed it from my 6700 because phone cameras suck). Get a phone that meets YOUR needs, my needs are _mostly_ met with the 800w.

I wouldn't change my oil with a sledge hammer even if I could... and I don't youtube on my phone and frankly I don't want to...

Is that all it takes to get switched to a Diamond? I wonder if this will work for me even though I got rid of the Instinct for the 800.

i dont realy understand that Palm thing, isnt the Treo made by HTC? why would Palm be effected ??

Treo's, and Centro's are made by Palm, not HTC.

And yes it has youtube just download the program. the program is called youtube search it. listen its a treo but it is still a windows mobile phone so THAT MEANS you can do a hell of a lot more with it than another phone out there the palm just designed the look and shape there are a million free programs for it the diamond is still a WINDOWS MOBILE phone thats just gonna do the same thing at the end of the day just with alittle more added features added by HTC..............

to be correct HTC does make the Treo..or atleast they did at one time
