i dont know what happened i used to be able to connect...

now it just disconnects my activesync and on my phone says check USB connection...

got mine working 4-13-2009 @ 3pm cool after 2 weeks of trying to get it to work

Mine works as well. I have troubleshooted different ways and this AND ONLY THIS ORDER works.

1. Delete or rename string value: HKLM>Comm>InternetSharing Icshelper.dll
2. Establish connection to Power Vision
3. Open Internet Sharing via Start>Programs>Internet Sharing
4. Choose USB as PC Connection
5. Tap "Connect" softkey
6. Wait until the status reads, "Check USB Cable"
7. Connect to PC.

If put in any other order it will not work. Hope this helps.

bet, ima try that...i had an old diamond fix that for sum reason doesnt work anymore...will post my result when i get to my lappy

edit the reg and insted of deleting i put qoutes around the word and waited 15 min then ttry to connect all ok now as a mater of fact using it now in Ca. while on Vac

In my Treo Pro I don't have the reg "Icshelper.dll" ,the only registry I see under internet sharing is "isext.dll" Do I have to create the "Icshelper.dll" registry?

Not sure if this applies to everyone but on my Treo 800w if you delete or rename string value: HKLM>Comm>InternetSharing Icshelper.dll this results in the today page maps search function locking up in "waiting for gps" and does not load the navigation web page of results.
Restoring the InternetSharing Icshelper.dll value to the registry enables the search map function again.
Does anyone know how to toggle the InternetSharing value with a mortscript command?
