WIFI Problems...

Hey, everyone. I feel like I'm in AA saying that. Anyway.

I just purchased the 800w--less than a week ago. When I first received the phone I investigated and tweaked about every feature it had--visible to me. I tested the Wifi out a couple of times and surfed around the Internet, just to insure it was working. Everything looked good.

I found the site a few days ago, and I was reading that Rev A wasn't enabled straight out of the box, so I enabled Rev A. *** Note: I tested the wifi a day later after enabling Rev A. *** The phone will connect to my wireless router, but I cannot surf the Internet at all. It seems sluggish--like something is happening--but then gives an error message. Error: "Connection closed by remote server." Only advice it gives is check other devices that might rely on this connection--basically. I assume the error message is talking about the router. The Internet works fine on both of my laptops, it just isn't working on my phone anymore.

Things I have tried:
(1) Disabled Rev A (Doing the ##evdo# code)
(2) Removed WIFI configuration from the phone
(3) Reconnected to WIFI router with the phone

It still connects to the router, but I cannot surf the Net. I would try doing a soft reset, but I must be a wuss or something because the cover to the battery will not open for me. Oh, another thing I installed was Opera Mobile 9.51 Beta. I don't know if that would have caused a problem or not.

What should I do? Has someone ran into this problem and fixed it? Do I just need to take it back and swap it out? I really like the WIFI feature--main reason I got the phone.

Re: WIFI Problems...

Solved: I reset the router. (A basic unplug fixed the problem.)
