Screen protector

Got a question here guys. Does our Treo 800 come with screen protector already? You know, like HTC Touch. I can't tell if there is one there or not. Thanks.

You should be able to see the tab on the side of the screen, but yes mine did and I put a better one on it...

Re: Screen protector

Thanks man. I just noticed that. I guess I will live with the factory one. Don't want to mess up the screen when taking it off.

When that one wears down, I know there are a lot of big name ones out there that cost a lot, but I would (and did) get this:
http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/...oductDetail.do

It is on sale for $6.96, has 12 in the pack, and do they last!!!!

You have to cut them to fit, but man....when you get it on....I have had one on my 700wx for almost two years, it is tough, responsive, and I can't detect any wear or tear, or any sign of it comming off the screen!!!!

For 12 in a pack, they are more than worth the money in my book!!!!!

Best price I have seen, and I wasn't exaggerating when I told you I still have the first one on my screen after almost two years!!!!

Enjoy, know I am VERY envious of that 800w you have there!!!!

(waiting for the 800w to get to VZW!!!!!)

The most realistic (as in...posted by a reliable source...VZW or Palm) post I saw indicated late in the third quarter, so I am taking the optimistic attitude and looking at somewhere between September and Christmas!!!!

That being said, I wouldn't be suprised to see an '09 release date, which would be OK for me, I am very excited about the 800w, but I love my 700wx, and have no complaints or issues with it, so it could be a lot worse a wait LOL!!!
