Yep...I've had this happen a few times. Just go ahead and delete the empty Storage Card (double check though before you hit delete). Do a soft reset and you should be good to go. Your card should then just say "Storage Card".

This used to happen on my Dell Axim all the time. Coz's solution works wonders.

This is an issue that happens when you select the option in POutlook to store attachments on the card.
If this is the case, you can either turn off this option, or keep doing what Coz recommended. BTW, you don't even need to soft reset. You just need to delete the Storage Card folder, and then remove and re-insert the card.
