SMS Threading - Can't send to e-mail address?

Before I installed SMS Threading, I could send text messages to an e-mail addresses.

These messages are now marked as undeliverable?

Can one still do this?

I know this will sound dumb, but make sure your sync cable isn't connected still.

I was trying to test something similar lastnight and got frustrated till I remembered you can't use the wireless network with that cable plugged in.

What CAB did you install? IIRC the first one did not have the e-mail center number for Sprint configured. Check on the official thread and you should find it...

I don't have this installes so I don't know it by heart...

Does anyone know if, with Verizon, an SMS to Email is included as a text or as something else? Also do you just put in the email address of the recipient? I am new to this sms to email deal I never knew you could do that. I am not sure if I'm just an idiot sometimes or if certain carriers *cough Verizon cough* doesn't advertise certain capabilities of there phones so as to discourage people from using them. But yeah if anyone knows help a kid out . Thanks in advance.

I am on Verizon and I can sms to email with the updated cab from the 29th. Most of the info is the same except the mms part which does not work anyway. I tested it a few time yesterday with no problems. I just put the email address in the to: field instead of a phone number.

edited to correct my sentence structure.

Just make sure 6245 is under email message gateway under your settings and everything will work for both Verizon and Sprint.

I dont understand that??

And is the sms to email the same as just sending a regular sms? Or is it a different charge? I have a text messaging plan I am just trying to figure out if sms to email will fall under that category.

Send a message via Skype™ to Wideawake
its gonna count as a text message so if ur gonna send a pic or vid to a email addy y not send it via email for free? otherwise sms to email is gonna cost standard text messages.

Same category. You are sending an SMS, regardless of the destination.

Email addresses should work perfectly with 6245 in the email center number, like Mal said. Did all of you check thios setting?
