Damn I just keep hitting snags. I installed the .cab and everything looks good however if I hit the left soft key and get my choice for SMS or Messaging, and I choose SMS it doesn't do anything it just sits there as though nothing has been done. If I highlight and click on Messaging though it does go to outlooks Inbox. If anyone knows what is going on or has any troubshooting ideas, let me know.

Nevermind, I soft reset the phone a couple of times and its working now...I think i'll hold my tongue a little longer in the future lol

This is nice and all but am I missing somthing????? It says this wont work on the Treo700WX model in the first line and like an idiot I tried it anyway and it does not work..........

Then why is it in this forum under Treo 700W/WX??????????????????

That is just a general statement to pretty much make this more appealing. From the screenshot you can see the hack was done on a square screen device, also, by being around you would also know that Malatesta has a 700wx.

In conclusion, this is possible on the 700wx. There was no known way before this, and as it's stated, this is as far as we can do for now.

Hey this is more of a little side note. For those who don't want to add another program onto your phone even though its so minimal. You can install the .cab, and then use your reg editor to go into you registry where the cab installed the entries you can then copy the entry to a generic folder you have/created then remove the .cab from the remove programs function then go back to the folder you copied the registry entry to and cut it from there and paste it to where the .cab originally installed itself to and paste it and you now have the new entries but without another program on your phone. Not sure if anyone is interested but it just keeps the programs installed on your phone to more of a minimum. The only reason I mention this is that I was being stupid and couldn't figure out how to modify my registry so I used the program but didn't want another program cluttering up the phone. Hope this helps someone...at least a little bit haha

xclusiv ill make one for use apache owners later. and hybrid yea it just does the changes for u and is extremely small so its not hurting anything to leave installed the file is what less than 1kb i think
