gmail ?

if so go through the setup again and when you get to username type

recent:username(your gmail username)

that will at least keep the last 30 days of your gmail on the phone

It is your own configuration. By default pop account only keeps last 7 days worth of email, which validates them during every time you connect to the pop server (if you do not reconnect, it will stay in your inbox). You can change that by select your gmail account option, in email setup screen 4/4, click on option second screen (2/3), you can put in the new days it will keep, I think 30 days was the maximum but I could be wrong here.

If you talk about email deleting in your PC gmail inbox window, then you need to goto setup->Forwarding and Pop, second setting: When messages are accessed with POP, select "keep Gmail's copy in the inbox" option.

it was the configuration,as soon as I set it to 30 days all the mail came back immediately.I always leave a copy on gmail.I didn't realize it erases previously downloaded messages from your handset after the set amount of days,each time I looged on and it checked the headers
