you'll need something like SKTools, MemMaid or TaskManager:
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...ager-v2-2.html

Find it and then "kill" it.

You won't see it running under memory, it's a processes!

guess you need the registered version to delete anything.... sigh...

update: sktools says it can delete the file from the start-up but when I delete it, its says it has been processed but the file still remains... gezzz..

TaskManager is freeware, just click Mal's link. But both SKTools & MemMaid are well worth the money. A must have for any PPC owner.

yea, i like the layout of sktools so I picked that up. Pretty cut and dry, just can't delete the file. It says I can, confirms it, but its still there. hmmm

totally ot, but have you used the latest version of SK tools 3.0.73?

It has a registry optimizer in it! It compresses it down I've done it once after a hard reset and a couple of program = 24% reduction and just did it again after another round of installations = 10%. Awesome.

No I have not. I still need to purchase it. Lucky for me my B-Day is coming soon. So I will be purchasing some more goodies for my wx.

EDIT: I had to shut it down in processes first before deleting it. duh! Can't wait for the next release.

I have the same problem with it not starting up on RC1 when in the \Windows\Startup folder. I went back to the previous version (2.5 second one) and it works fine in the startup folder.
