Gmail set up on 700wx

I tried to search for a setup topic but I cant find one so please be nice and help me out.

Can someone send me the setup for a Sprint 700wx gmail account?
I went on the Treo site but after the general set up I cant send emails.

Just input the incoming & outgoing settings from the settings menu when you log into your gmail account. You can also set-up an exchange account such as Mail2web.com or 4smartphone.net then just forward all of your incoming gmail email to that address & receive it instantly.

I was on the gmail site and they say gmail doesnt work with Treo 700wx????
I want to keep things as simple as possible, I have an AOL account and gmail account but i cant send email on my phone......is mail2web.com the easiest way to go?

I don't know about mail2web, but I use gmail on my WX all the time, I think you should be able to as well!!

one last thing ... check how you have pop3 mail set up in your gmail account online . pop mail from now on , and save copy in inbox work for me ...

one other last thing .... look in your outbox ... sometimes an outbound email will get hung up . open and hit send , that usually flushes it out

Thank you, this worked perfectly. Do you know about AOL setup with a Sprint Treo phone...I can download my emails but I cant send?????
