The bottom line for you I guess is this: If you don't have any problems connecting to your data plan, your probably OK....if you do, the update may be worth it. Given a worst case scenario, make sure you have a backup, and if you brick, VZW/Palm (from past experiences I have seen in here) should make good on the device. |

Crap, this doesn't appear to be available for Sprint! Wondering if there's any way to downgrade to 1.13 in the meantime? We need the 1.22 update for Sprint badly, as 1.15 breaks PAM tethering. If 1.22 is not going to be available soon, can you advise me on downgrading back to 1.13?
Thanks for any help you may provide. |

Stuck on the splash screen
while doing the 1.22 update, my screensaver kicked in. Now it's stuck in the splash screen and will not reset at all. I tried pulling out the battery, hard reset and etc.
Is there a way to reconnect to the phone and restore my old rom ? Please help. Thanks |

I recently installed the 1.22 updater on my Palm 700w and paired it with a Plantronics 855 headset. It paired perfectly and stereo music sounds great!
However, I have yet to find anyone talking(complaining) about the fact that voice calls inbound or outbound only play in one ear. I know that phone calls can't be in stereo like music. But it would be darn nice if I could simply hear the person's voice in both ear buds. Am I missing something in the config? I have looked everywhere. Does the update not include this this kind of feature? Plantronics just shrugged their shoulders. |

Re: Verizon 700w/wx 1.22 Update
You can probably get a replacement device from Verizon. They sent me one. I think the BT issue may be hardware-related to the updated ROM.
