Sounds like you are installing this on a post AKU2.3 device. Try using Resco to remove the 13 files you manually copied to \Windows and soft reboot.

The files are:

htmlnote.dll
mailtrns.dll
mdsmailsvc.dll
MsgMnuExt.dll
MsgMnuExt_enUS.dll
poutlook.exe
tkitapp.exe
tmail.exe
tmailutl.dll
tmarshaller.exe
tpcutil.dll
webview.dll
pimgdll.dll

i was going down the line w/ total commander and it wouldn't let me delete mailtrns.dll. would a restore w/ spb backup do the trick? then, that way afterwards i just run the .cab file w/ out copying those 13 files to /windows and it'll be good to go?

Try removing mailtrns.dll after a soft reset. It could be that the mail app is holding onto it. If you can't remove it try renaming it and do a soft reset. Then you will be able to remove it.

i have had the threaded app set up for about a week and it is working great. i just have a problem with sending email from my phone. whether trying to reply to an email or compose a new one the send button will not work. i press it and it does nothing. i also can't save the messages to drafts. i have yahoo, hotmail, and Sprint Business connection set up and they were working fine previously. Is this a normal problem? or have i just messed things up in my own way? thanks for any help guys!

All of these email issues have been resolved. Try the beta4. You'll like it.

Can someone please tell me the correct file? The file I have downloaded has 85 files in it! This is the file I downloaded palm_messaging_preaku23_beta4_210 and has 85 files not 13. Additionally the file before this has only one file. I do not see a .cab with only 13 files.
Also how your you guys using this total comander thing? I can not see the phone through this.
