Problems with Treo 700wx SMS??????
 

Does anyone know or can anyone tell me if installing this hack is helping with the problem many seem to be having with the 700wx and SMS massaging?

I have a PPC6700 right now that this hack works great on, but I'm thinking about selling it and getting a 700wx, but I'm hesitant because of all the problems they are having at the current time.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Palm released some patch for the 700wx for SMS issues. Anyone want to try it out?

OMG! I'm sh***n bricks now! It worked!!! It worked!!

Are you using the Palm patch and the threaded SMS?

EDIT: I installed it on top of my beta3 threaded SMS and all seems well.

Members over at treocentral confirms that it fixed the issue texting to Verizon, T-Mobile and to AOL Instant Messenger.

EDIT2: Hannip and I verified that the 140+ character limitation is fixed. I sent him a 145, 165 and 200 character message without any issues.
