I installed the new cab file on a friend's treo. he had msgs not yet read prior to installing. once installed, it shows that there is 2 unread msgs and it is not in the palm msg app and text msging is not in inbox anymore. how can i get rid of the 2 unread messages? or get the unread msgs to appear in the palm messaging app?

thanks in advance

Did you try soft reset?

H1 11-02-2006 09:41 PM

Yup. it was still there after the soft reset.

Thing with this app is that you can't uninstall it since it's based on overwriting ROM files. Did he make a backup before installing? I would hard reset, restore to that backup, and reisntall.

Make sure all messages are read, etc. I would even turn off phone radio while installing to avoid any messages getting to the device.

If anyone knows another way, please share... I don't have the app so I'm not sure what else can be done.
