Re: Need original Rom image for Verizon Palm 700w
Thanks for the reply, but this is the regular update software, not a rom image.
I need the actual image of the original rom that came on the Verizon 700w. It will be in format Napaboth.nb0 |

Re: Need original Rom image for Verizon Palm 700w
Can you not just update from that then do a hard reset thats what I did atleast. I put it in bootloader then did the "1.24 update" to get back to 6.0

Re: Need original Rom image for Verizon Palm 700w
When I run the update software, I get a message that says The software I currently have is newer than the one I am tryin to load and then exits. When I load images from a rom file, it just loads and does not try to think.
I am up for a work around if you have one. |

Re: Need original Rom image for Verizon Palm 700w
Try putting the phone in bootleader mode.
1. Take out the battery. 2. Hold the Volume Up button on the side. 3. Put the battery back in. It should go into bootloader then. Thats what I had to do to get it to go back. |

Re: Need original Rom image for Verizon Palm 700w
I must be missing an obveous step.
How can the updater run without active sync being on? When I put the phone in bootloader mode to update a rom image, the updater does not run. It says that the usb connection is failed. Can the updater be run from an SD card instead of the Computer? |
