treo dead?

I did search and didn't seem to find anything relevant. I was texting earlier on my 700wx and accidentally pressed the power button, making the screen shut off. So, I tried to turn it back on and it didn't turn on. I figured I had done it to fast, so I waited and still nothing. I pulled the battery, let it sit for a minute and then turned it back on. It now just hangs at the treo screen with no loading bar. It has been sitting here for about 10 minutes. I hate to have to resort to a hard reset before having a chance to backup contacts, but if it comes down to that then I will. Hopefully someone can shed some light.

well it finally went.. but it looks like luck is not with me today. Sprite doesn't seem to want the password I gave it for the backup.

Double check the password. If you can get to Sprite on your phone try changing the Encrypt Data option. This may bypass the password. Check the Encrypt Data option too on your pc.

You might try running the wizard again too and see if you can enter a "new" password.
