Unlike Ni-Cd batteris, lithium-ion batteries should be charged early and often...they should not be "deep-cycled" like Ni-Cd batteries. Lithium-ion batteries do not have a "memory". That's the short answer. late, Coz

And actually a fast little fact... You should NEVER let a lithium ion battery completely discharge. I know from personal experience and what we learned in my electrical engineering classes that each time you completely discharge it..the less of a chance you have of ever getting it to charge at all again. PSP Lithium batteries are famous for this.
