Yeah i tried it but i couldnt get the video to save, or the pictures... Picture looked a whole lot clearer but just couldnt get it to save to phone

that's the same thing mine is doing...choppy like that, not a huge issue...but i would still like it to be a little nicer and smoother...it's the same resolution as a webcam...and my webcam is much smoother (and 3 years older) that the one on the phone.

I agree...I was trying to find an old clip I filmed on my 700p before I switched over to the wx, not yet found it...I will post it w/ a link as soon as I do though...It was much smoother at the video capturing than my wx...I do also agree that it is not a huge deal...Just bugs me that I dropped my screen resolution & now video capture...I used my treo vid capture alot when my son was first born to capture all them spur of the moment things that you can only get w/ a quick cam on hand....I'm just wanting to do more filming recently cuz my little girl was born on May 1st & I'm finding my self wanting to do alot more pix & vid of her...I did sort of find a work around, but it drains my battery like there is no tomorrow...I used XCPUscalar to overclock my cpu to 520mhz & have the video go straight to internal memory...With this it seems to do better...Just annoying to have to do all this just to have usable footage.

In my opinion, the camera in general sucks. The only way to avoid the choppy video is to up the fps. The 700wx captures at 15fps. Even at hi-res, the output will be choppy. I wish there was a way to increase the fps.

Any ideas??

blackjackdf is correct Coolcamera seems to do the trick! If you have a 700wx & want decent video this application is a MUST. I've searched all over the web for a program that will allow you to change the fps recorded on the 700wx with no luck. http://www.ateksoft.com/download.html Coolcamera actually records video in .avi format. Check it out
