switching network settings

So the trouble I was having, a costly one, was that my Treo was dialing up to the mobile network at all hours of the day and pulling weak emails... even when I had it usb synced with the notebook. I didn't realie that I had to change my network settings from connect to "my isp" to "my work" every night.

My question: Is there any way to do this automatically so that when I activesync the Treo it will use that network?

A follow-up: Is there any software that will enable me to do this by pushing a single button on my today screen or map to a button on my keyboard?
