You may want to try a search since this has been posted to death...
You could try the threaded app extracted from the Treo 750, it is kinda tricky to install on WM5, and we cannot post it here at Palm's request. However, a Google search will directo you it. You could also try Vito's SMS-Chat, however, it is entirely touch screen and would defy the purpose on a device with a square screen and a keyboard. There are other options that never really made a big impact, but a search will help you find different threads discussing all these apps.
