Actually I solved my Night Profile problem, but still can't get PA to dial my voicemail correctly. And I posted the same question over there, but wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks.

I don't think phoneAlarm will work with your VM password connected to the number. You may want to get rid of the (,), & - in your phone number, and see if that dose the trick. If not, then click the link dlbrummels posted and search around then see what Bruce says if you can't find your answer.

Ok, I figured out the PhoneAlarm voicemail problem. For anyone who wants to know here it is. Keep in mind that this is with Verizon.
The format you have to enter your voicemail into PA's settings is: *86,,,PPP,PPP# *86 gets you into Verizon's voicemail system and then I guess my 6 digit password was to long for PA to get it right so I had to break it up with a comma. |

PA voicemail setting
I am also on Verizon, but I don't put *86, instead I just put phone number in. Here is where to go:
Adv/ General settings/ Voicemail Put your phone number there and that should do it and PA will automatically call in your voicemail when you ask it to. I figure this method might work for any carrier, verizon or not.

hey there,
What I found was that as it dials the password, it is turbo fast...to fast for it to recognize. So, what I did was just seperate each number in my password with a comma: (xxx)xxx-xxxx,,,X,X,X,X,X,# It works fine, just takes a little longer than if you were to just punch it in. Oh, and thats phonealarm on a treo 700w, verizon Hope that helps! Cheers. |
