Blank screen during call

I searched for "BLANK SCREEN DURING CALL" and got 3 pages of irrelavant hits. I hope someone can help me.

Mysteriously overnight my phone decided that during phone calls the screen and keypad turn off & the only button that seems to get a response is the Power/End Call button and the black numbered keys. It wasn't doing this last night and I haven't installed any new wsoftware in over 2 weeks.

I have checked the "Disable screen during call" and it is NOT enabled. Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct it? I do A LOT of conference calls for my business and I NEED my screen active.

Any advice??? TIA.

Uhmm haven't heard of this issue before. Did you try soft reset? If not you know what I'm gonna say next... hard reset

Or maybe try contacting tech support, although it usually never helps... but I haven't heard of this issue before.

if u r running phonealarm check phonealarm settings and uncheck blank on call or something like that.

See Pibe's message from above. Have you recently made any changes, added software, etc.
