saving and loading apps from storage card

Hello,

I did a search and didn't come up with anything, but I do recall this being posted somewhere on this forum.

I know how to get the app on the card but when I go to install the app it asks do I want it on the device on the card and I choose the card but then when I go to run it from the program files folder on the card I get errors.

Any input?
Also if this was posted elsewhere could you please direct me to the post?

I am not sure what you mean by "run it from the program files folder on the card" but after you run a cab file and load the program whether to the card or the device the shortcut to open the program is in start/programs. Dose that help?

I don't remember what the error was but I know I had recieved that same error once I downloaded the sprite program. I choose to install on my storage card but I didn't know that it would place the shortcut in my Program folder. So when I tried to backup from my storage card I got an error. Just use the shortcut and everything will be fine.

Quick question when you backup and the device is synced it does save to your computer as well right. Just making sure.

If you backup via AS the backup file is saved to the PC. If you backup on the device itself, you tell it where to save the file.

Actually, on both occasions you can tell it where to save I think.
